Haley Saunders (she/her) is a cinematographer who loves building the visual world of stories. She favors narratives which examine race, class and gender—especially LGBTQ+ stories. She has shot narrative features and shorts, beauty, product, and brand campaigns, music videos, and documentaries. Her work has been featured in Times Square, online on HBO Max, The Atlantic, Amazon Prime, Vimeo Staff Picks, and No Film School, in addition to festival screenings at Tallinn Black Nights, Taipei, Brussels Independent, and many more. Her corporate clients include Netflix, Oakley, and Walmart.
She earned an MFA in Cinematography from Chapman University and BA at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (go heels!). She’s surfed the coasts of four continents, has been called an easy laugh, and is first draft pick on many a person’s ‘end of the world’ team.
